Joel Hanes

      I was born in California, but grew up moving between Wyoming, California and eventual Utah where I currently live. 

 One Constant in my life has always been the outdoors, no matter where I was, I would always find myself among trees and wildlife. 

 My first photo I remember taking was of my favorite spot along a riverbank in Wyoming; I framed it and gave it as a gift to my teacher when I returned to California. I was 14.
